Cartel and Endicott Interconnect Technologies Inc. (EI) made a good showing at the Del Mar Electronics show last week, as they continued to promote their new sales alliance through the Elite Sale organization.
Once again, Cartel and EI made a point to show up at Del Mar and reinforce their new relationship through their alignment with Elite Sales International. Both companies, who announced the strategic sales relationship early last month, shared a large booth at the Del Mar Electronics Show, highlighting their new relationship.
Michael Hills, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development with EI, commented, “We are implementing the plan that was underway even before we made the announcement at APEX, and this new alliance has already been successful with a large San Diego-based OEM. We are here at the Del Mar Show because we want to really highlight the importance of this market region, its customers and our relationship.
After the show, John Peters, Senior Executive Vice President of Cartel, and founder and CEO of Elite Sales International, stated, “The show was fantastic. This venue provided us the opportunity to stand shoulder to shoulder with our new partners and present our unique model to the industry. The Elite, Cartel and EI relationship was received enthusiastically by both our current and future customers. Clearly the benefits that we now offer, having the highest technology, the fastest turn time and superior service, gives our customers the competitive advantage they have been asking for.”
Del Mar is a small show, but is by all accounts an important show for San Diego business, and it reaches all across the electronics supply chain. Next year, the long-standing San Diego electronics show staple will expand and change its name to the Del Mar Electronics and Design Show, underscoring their desire to attract the design and engineering community to this event. This will, no doubt, be attractive to their current exhibitors and, more to the point, draw even more exhibitors to this show, as well as increase the show’s foot traffic.
The Cartel/EI booth stayed busy throughout the two days of the show. Connie Herring, Senior Sales Associate for Cartel Electronics, is from the San Diego area, and was, quite literally, born into the PCB industry. She commented, “I come here (to Del Mar Show) every year, and I have gotten great customers from this show.” She further commented that the partnership between Cartel and Endicott has already yielded some impressive activity with some impressive customer names. Being able to say ‘yes’ to the really high tech designs is very powerful.”
